Alcohol attributable injuries are of a growing concern to the public health community, which alcohol related injuries such as road traffic accidents, burns, poisonings, falls, and drownings making up more than a third of the disease burden attributable to alcohol consumption. Its effects to individuals, families, community and employment is equally a sad story.

For harmful drinkers and people with mild alcohol dependence, psychological interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapies, social networking and even environmental based therapies are very vital in the management plans.

We at Chipata Central Hospital; and Petauke District Hospital in Eastern Province of Zambia, we offer appropriate interventions to people with alcohol related problems were we help people recognise problems or potential problems related to their drinking, and offer various interventions.

Come join us every weekday from Monday to Friday from 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs at Chipata Central Hospital in Chipata, and Petauke District Hospital in Petauke  Zambia.
